Employer has not paid your wages: how to demand what you are owed

Video guide

Kronofogden states that an employee can apply for a payment order to establish an unpaid salary claim. Do not sign documents stating that salary was paid or that you waive claims unless you understand the consequences.

Wages missing? Do not rely on a verbal promise from the employer.

If your employer has not paid your wages, put your demand in writing. A union may help its members, and an unpaid debt can also be pursued through the Swedish Enforcement Authority.
